Léandro Riedi

Leandro Riedi is a Swiss professional tennis player born on January 27, 2002, in Frauenfeld. Known for his powerful game and aggressive style, he quickly made his mark on the ATP Challenger Tour.

He won his first Challenger title in 2022 in Helsinki as a qualifier, followed by other notable successes and finals. In 2023, he reached his career-high singles ranking of No. 126 and recorded a standout victory over the world No. 6 at the Hopman Cup.

The year 2024 saw several Challenger titles and strong performances on the tour, including an impressive run at the Madrid Masters 1000. However, in August 2024, Leandro was forced to pause his season due to a right knee injury that required surgery. Complications during rehab extended his time away from the courts.

He made his return to competition in May 2025, quickly winning matches and qualifying for the main draw at Wimbledon, where he played his first Grand Slam main draw match.

Leandro is admired for his offensive play, powerful serve, and determination on court. Off the court, he stands out for his calm and thoughtful personality, qualities that help him handle the pressures of professional tennis.
